Amendments to Treaty and NotesPursuant to Article 37, Australia, as a Member of the Hague Conference ( Statute of 31 October 1951) became a contracting State by signature of 29 October 1986 and deposit of its Instrument of Ratification on the same date. The Accession, under Article 38, of a State not at the time a member of the Conference, has effect for a Contracting State only following the deposit of declaration of acceptance.
