Amendments to Treaty and NotesPursuant to Art. 6 the Inaugural Ministerial council Meeting (Denpasar, 9 Feb 1991) amended Articles 4.4; 28.2; 44.1; 44.2; 45.1; 45.2 and 45.3 of the Petroleum Mining code and subsections 4, 7, 7.3 and 7.9 of the Model Production Sharing Contract. The sixth Ministerial Council Meeting (Brisbane, 20 Oct 1995) amended Articles 28.1; 28.2 and 45.1 of the Model Production Sharing Contract. See Agreement with UNTAET of 10 February 2000 Australia recognised de jure incorporation of East Timor as the 27th Province of Indonesia during the period 1976 and 1999. By UN Security Council resolution 1272/1999 of 29 October 1999 the United Nations Transitional Administration in East Timor (UNTAET) assumed responsibility for administration of East Timor from that date. Treaty with Indonesia terminated and no longer in force.
