Amendment of 16 Nov 1988 changed the tile of the Agreement to:
"Agreement between the Government of Australia and the Government of the United States of America Relating to the Establishment of Joint Defence Facility at Pine Gap."
The Head agreement made for 9 years and remained in force thereafter, subject to one year's notice of termination.
